Aniston Talks About Directing, Noticeably Mum on Brad Pitt

Jennifer Aniston has been in the news as much lately about what Brad Pitt supposedly has said about her as anything else, but she’s not taking the opportunity to fire back at what was most likely an innocuous comment taken out of context. Pitt famously referred to his life with Aniston as "boring," but clarified later that it wasn’t Aniston herself that was boring, but he that was the root cause. Whether that was backpedaling or not is not entirely clear, but if Aniston’s response is any indication, it was all much ado about nothing.

Aniston recently directed a film, "Five," about the effects of breast cancer, and clearly enjoyed herself behind the camera as much as she does in front of it. She noted in an interview with Access Hollywood, "It was like a dream come true, honestly, and such an important piece that we were all invested in. It was like working with, not only our best friends, but they’re also incredible producers, and all of us coming together. We just can’t believe that we’re actually her. It’s amazing."

The project Aniston refers to is one where she worked with other stars, including Ginnifer Goodwin, Patricia Clarkson and josh Holloway. Asked if she would be doing more directing in the future, she replied, "Sure hope so. That’s the plan. I’m not sure what or when or where, but yes." Asked about Pitt and his comments, she replied quickly, "Oh, lord, it’s not even worth discussing on a night like this."
